Mumford and Sons concert postponement
The Mumford and Sons Concert at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater, scheduled for Monday, June 17, 2013 is being postponed. All tickets for the June 17th event will be honored at the September 20th date. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase. The band has made the following statement in regards to the postponement:
Dear friends,
It is with great joy that we can announce that Ted has been discharged from hospital and is on the road to a full recovery. The surgery went well, and the excellent medical team helping him are very pleased with his progress. He has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal, and now it has been medically proved that he does indeed have a brain.
Today, however, also marks the end of our Summer Stampede Tour. We were hoping to have made it out by Bonnaroo this weekend. But it is with sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of our scheduled performances at both Bonnaroo and Telluride Festivals, and a postponement of our show at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, KS. If we could've we would've, you know that about us. We trust that you can respect our collective desire to encourage Ted to make a full recovery, and that this is based purely on the medical advice we have received.
On behalf of Ted, and all of us really, we would like to thank every one for their compassion and support at this time and we are very excited to get back out on tour as soon as we can.

Notice about tickets not sold through Ticketmaster
The show is sold out, and we do not anticipate any additional tickets becoming available. While we are happy that the show has been successful, we wish there were more tickets available for fans to enjoy the show!
Websites that are selling tickets on the secondary market are not endorsed by the venue. We do not work directly with these secondary websites or brokers; we only sell tickets through Ticketmaster, and none of the sales on these other websites are facilitated by the venue.
We put security measures in place to ensure that as many tickets end up in the hands of fans as possible, including a paperless ticketing system for many of the tickets to this show. Unfortunately, even with all of these measures, some fans choose to sell their tickets on these sites at an inflated price. While these tickets may be valid, Cricket Wireless Amphitheater only guarantees the validity of tickets sold through Ticketmaster.

This really is not fair to the average concert goer!!! Trying to get a fair ticket. There has to be a way to get tickets without going through secondary measures. That is all that is available at this time. Need 2 tickets!!!!! What if I buy a ticket from stub hub or box office, then it is not valid? What are we to do?

I have some questions about my tickets for Mumford & Sons. My tickets are for the PIT area but my wife is disabled and needs a seat. Is the PIT standing only or are there any seats?
@ Adam Our pit area has seats as well as standing room. If you require accessible seating, our staff will be more than happy to help you on your arrival.

there was a presale from mumford and sons where people buying were limited to only 4 tickets, you had to register and get an invite to purchase…this was before general ticket sales, to cut down on scalpers. be a real fan and watch the websites and listen to local radio for these tips. I GOT PIT! i am so excited.
Due to the blood clot that Ted had, are we still thinking that the band will still be ready to go on Monday? That seems very dangerous and may take time.

Even though I’m certainly not a MUMFORD & SONS fan (by any means) I do hope that their bassist makes a full recovery from this blood clot. Even if the Sandstone gig has to be postponed, I hope they make it out there. Have maybe two acquaintances who bought tickets for the show.
I have tickets for lawn seating. Are chairs provided on the lawn seating area or do you recommend bringing a blanket to sit on?
Also, is food available at this concert or drinks only?

@ Debbie the parking lot will open at 4pm and gates will open at 6pm.
@ Christy You may bring a blanket or cushion to sit on, but no chairs. We will have both food (bbq sandwiches, pretzels, nachos, etc.) and drinks available at our concession stands.

@ Alli You can enter the venue through any entrance with a pit ticket, but make sure you exchange it for a pit wristband once inside. Only those with wristbands will be allowed to enter the pit.
There is a “Cricket Hop the Line” gate at each entrance, usually off to the side (You’ll see the sign above it).

I have my tickets, but am unable to make the show. I’m giving my tickets to friends of mine, but am wondering if I’ll need to come to show my ID to match my name on the tickets. I definitely want to make sure they’re able to get in.
Do I just need to show my license and credit card at the gate to get in (since there are paperless tickets for this show)?

@ Jill and Joe For paperless tickets, the original card that was used to purchase the tickets will need to be present to redeem the tickets, along with an ID.

A followup to Joe’s question. I bought a tix through stub hub (I have the offical Ticketmaster tix now), but the name on the tix is the seller’s name. I’ll of course have my ID and credit card that I used to buy the ticketmaster tix through Stub hub.
The emails that I received from Mumford and Sons for the pre-sale say the concert is Sunday, June 16th but it is on your calendar as Monday, June 17th? Which is correct? Thanks.

I purchased 2 VIP tickets and it says ADULT on the ticket because of drinks being served at the tent. I am not yet 21 but I still want early entry. Do I have to be 21?
Spoke to stubhub. They advised if canceled outright and not just postponed they issue a refund. All buyers via stubhub will get an email to advise. If rescheduled your tickets you received would be honored. I got the electronic tickets that you print out at home so at least that was what they told me.
So is the show CANCELLED or POSTPONED? I read an article on KMBC that said it was postponed and to hold on to the tickets.
If it’s cancelled, how do I get a refund? PS. I bought them through Ticket Master.

Statement on M&S blog states that the show has been cancelled, while the above statement mentions that it has only been postponed. Have two tickets for the show on June 17th…would like further clarification if possible.

The statement above says postponed, but the bands post on Facebook says cancelled. I’m confused at this point. I’m glad Ted is ok and they are putting his health first. Just getting mixed info.
This event is being postponed, not cancelled. The information posted by the band was incorrect, we apologize for the error. A rescheduled date will be announced very soon.
We urge ticket holders to hold on to tickets, as a new date will be announced in the very near future. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase if you are unable to make it to the rescheduled date.
Please note that the venue is only able to refund tickets purchased through Ticketmaster.
I read on Jack Johnson’s facebook page that his band worked something out and will be filling in the remainder of Mumford shows? Can anyone confirm this?!

I find it odd that the “note from the band” posted here is ALMOST identical to the one posted on their facebook page and website, but this one says it’s postponed, while it indicates cancelled on their FB page and website. I understand that the venue would do due diligence and make every effort to try and reschedule… and I hope they do, but it’s coming off a little sketchy on the part of cricket wireless ampitheatre… I’d trust the band over the venue.
What is sketchy? It is cancelled for Monday but will be made up later. They are back in North America in August. Let Cricket and the band work it out and stop putting doubt out there. Just worry about the bass player and hope all ends well and go to the show later this summer… You have no reason to not “trust” anyone.

@ C2 The lawn is general admission. Ticketmaster prints row and seat numbers on that section to track inventory
@ Heather We can only guarantee tickets purchased from Ticketmaster- there’s not a way for us to track the tickets once they leave the original purchaser’s hands. They may be valid tickets, but I would contact Stub Hub about their guarantee policies.

Our parking lots and box office will open at 4:30pm on Friday, Sept 20 and door time is scheduled for 5:30pm.
I bought tickets from a friend and they are the “print at home” tickets from ticketmaster. Since I have the actual printed version of the ticket, does the name on them still need to match my ID?
@ Abbey You should be fine since you you have the actual ticket but to be completely sure please bring a photocopy of the ID of the purchaser of the tickets.
