After spending the summer touring with Rockstar Mayhem Festival, Rob Zombie made a stop here in Kansas City, bringing Machine Head, Amon Amarth, and Children of Bodom with him. It wouldn't be a Rob Zombie show without pyro, video screens, and props, but this show was definitely a step above the rest!

Electric Run is a 5k like nothing you've seen before! The path featured glowing neon trees, tunnels, glowing arches, and more that moved to the beat of the music to create an electric wonderland. The 5k ended with a celebration that included a DJ, even more lights, and plenty of dancing. This family friendly event showed the versatility of the venue and we hope to see it back soon!

One of the added perks this year was that parents got complimentary tickets from the tour if attending with their child- just one of the many things that made this the "Best Day Ever"!

The first of its kind: a combination MMA Tournament mixed with a rock show. Titan Entertainment produced two MMA fight tournaments, with the bands Federation of Horsepower, Black Oxygen, and Syn City Cowboys providing entertainment between fights.
The winners of the two weight classes (Chad Williams in the 185lb tournament, and Brandon Phillips in the 155lb weight class tournament) both received professional fighting contracts with Titan Entertainment, to appear in at least 2 televised fights, as well as a sponsorship from SEVEN Fight Gear.
You can bet this knock-out event will return next year!

We've never been disappointed by a Rob Zombie concert, and tonight was no exception! Rob Zombie brought all the lights, fire, and action he's known for, while openers As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, and Kansas City locals Hammerlord and Troglodyte gave stellar sets!
Escape the Fate was originally scheduled to perform, but had to cancel at the last minute. Mad props to KC locals Troglodyte for stepping up and filling in on short notice!
