Cricket Wireless Amphitheater (formerly Sandstone Amphitheater) is an open-air performance venue located in Bonner Springs, Kansas, conveniently located near the Kansas Speedway and Legends Shopping Mall. Opened in 1984, it is a place where concert fans have been making memories for over twenty years. Audience capacity at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater is 18,000 people, including approximately 3,100 box and reserved seats.

Cricket Wireless Amphitheater is comprised of both reserved and general admission seating. The "up-front" general admission area is located directly in front of the stage, and allows more fans close access to the stage and performers. Unless otherwise noted on the Event Calendar page, all tickets to all concerts allow access to this General Admission area on a first-come, first-served basis. Yes, but you will also be guaranteed your reserved seat as well. Keep in mind that the lower GA section is limited to the first 5,000 patrons with any ticket type. On certain occasions, some shows may have a separate GA Pit ticket or lower reserve ticket; in these instances, this change will be noted on the Event Calendar page.
Generally the parking lot opens 2 hours prior to the show time and the gates generally open 1 hour prior to show time. Check our website a day or two before the show day for exact opening times.
Yes, we will provide you with an opportunity to purchase a $5 beer inside the venue.
We are encouraging online ticket sales to help maintain our green initiatives, reducing the amount of paper produced in ticket stock, and the number of emissions from cars driving to the venue to purchase tickets. However, the box office will be open on day of show for those needing tickets and/or to pick up their will call tickets.

Yes! Anyone with a ticket to a concert and Cricket phone in-hand when they arrive at the venue can gain entry before general gate time. To take advantage of this, simply show your Cricket phone at the Cricket Hop the Line Gate (located at both the GA and Reserved Entrance Gates), and you and up to 3 more people (for a total of 4 people per Cricket phone) will be allowed in early. All people entering through this gate will of course need to have their own ticket to the show.

Wild Country is a wild new kind of event night at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater! On select weekends in the summer, we are transforming our VIP Club and patio into an open-air country music club, featuring live country bands, country line dancing, live DJs, reduced drink prices, a BBQ food court, and more! Admission and parking are free, and you must be 21+ to enter. Please see our Wild Country page for more information.
Parking is $10 per car in the General Admission or Reserved lots. VIP parking is also available on a first-come first-served basis for $20 per car. Courtesy of Shawnee Mission Hyundai, anyone driving a hybrid or all-electric vehicle parks for free. At our Wild Country event nights, parking is free, also courtesy of Shawnee Mission Hyundai.
